Private blood test costs can vary depending on the health check or blood test you choose. Health Klinix wants you to lead healthier lives and be in charge of your own future health, so we've tried to make the costs as affordable as possible. To find our the price for each blood test and health check, please visit the dedicated information page.
This depends on the test, however you should receive a result within 1 - 3 working days. Once we have the results, we'll share it with you through our secure link.
Your blood test is usually quick and simple and takes about 10 minutes. A doctor, nurse or a fully qualified phlebotomist will usually take your blood tests. Your sample is then sent to one of our UKAS (ISO 15189) accredited laboratories for analysis.
Once we've received the results we will share it with you electronically and provide guidance on how you can stay healthy.
Some health checks and blood tests require fasting, such as tests for cholesterol and diabetes. If this is the case we'll advise you in advance; it's usually 8-10 hours of fasting although you should be able to drink water.
The thought of a blood test is often much worse than the actual blood test itself. Our healthcare professionals have many years of experience and will make sure your blood sample is taken with as little discomfort as possible.
We'll usually share your blood results through a secure portal by sending you a link. If you prefer a paper copy please let us know and we can arrange this for you. If any of your blood results are not normal then we’ll let you know and ask you to see your GP and also give you advice on how to stay healthy. If it's urgent we'll call you so please make sure we have a contact telephone number for you.
