19 cases of Oropouche virus infection have been reported in Europe in June and July 2024, according to the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control ( ECDC). 12 cases have been reported in Spain, 5 in Italy and 2 in Germany. Is this virus 'unstoppable' and coming to the UK?
