Rift Valley Fever outbreak in Uganda

There has been a Rift Valley Fever outbreak in Western Uganda. It has claimed 3 lives and affected many others. The viral infection is transmitted through the bite of mosquitoes and affects livestock and humans. It's found in much of the African continent. Main symptoms are a flu like illness with fever, muscle pains and bleeding. There's no specific treatment.
